Week Four Reflection//Notes – Kelsey Dean
Over our fourth class, we learned about tools and tricks to further enhance our knowledge with online programs that we will come across in our professional lives currently and in regards to the future. As well, we learned about resources such as “Thello”, which allows for collaborative task management for organization in school and our day to day lives.
Multimedia Learning Hypothesis:
- Students can learn more deeply from words with included pictures rather than with words alone.
- How can we as educators adapt and use multimedia to enhance learning?
Reflection:
Learning different techniques and skills can be very helpful at this point in my education because it means that I can learn and improve throughout the years to come. Implicating these tools will allow me to build a professional portfolio and learn skills that can be applicable to all kinds of jobs, not only teaching. I hope to familiarize myself with these tools, and master them as I remain in university.
